However with luxurious, well-equipped cabin, strong engine lineup, maximum comfort and proven off-road capability it is still hard to beat. 2018 Range Rover is the next iteration of fourth generation model which debuted in 2013 and it brings some welcomed improvements.

An upcoming version of the Range Rover will benefit from slight exterior changes, upgraded infotainment features and it will also gain more advanced driver aids. What’s more the brand will also add new version called SV Autobiography Dynamic.
2018 Range Rover: Design
When it comes to the design of the 2018 Range Rover it is familiar form of upright theme but model looks stylish from every point of view. It comes in two wheelbase lengths and longer option adds 8 inches. All that additional space is available in the rear and model offers one of the most comfortable second rows in the class.
As for the new SV Autobiography Dynamic model, it rides on the standard wheelbase and features attractive 21-inch alloy wheels. Unique exterior details include Graphite Atlas finishes. Inside leather covered seats feature diamond pattern inserts and it also offers 20-way power front seats, unique trim, unique trimmed pedals, etc. On the other hand this version also has upgraded running rig including sport-tuned, lower suspension with adaptive dampers, Brembo brakes, active sway bars, etc.
In the area of the tech features new Range Rover will get upgraded infotainment system. New unit sports larger 10.2 inch screen and includes upgraded connectivity and navigation features. It also benefits from new integrated apps. For instance, with new app the owner can remotely control some functions like climate parameters, engine start and alarm.
On the other hand new driver aids will also make ride easier and safer. Advanced Trailer Assist helps driver to reverse trailer easier. There is also an intelligent speed limiter which uses Traffic Sign Recognition and can automatically correct the speed according to road limits. Blind-spot assist and Driver Condition monitor are also new additions.
2018 Range Rover: Engine options
The 2018 Range Rover base engine will be V-6 supercharged with 3.0 liters. This engine will produce 340 hp and 332 lb-ft torque. Another TD6 engine will be Turbo-diesel and it will produce 254 hp with 443 lb-ft torque. The third engine with 5.0 liters supercharged will also be part of the package. It will give 510 hp and 461 lb-ft torque to the system.
This 5.0 liter supercharged engine will produce 550 hp and torque of 502 lb-ft on the SV Autobiography and new SV Autobiography Dynamic models.
All engines work together with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Also standard is full-time all-wheel drive system. All models also sports Terrain Response system with five modes.
Starting price of 2018 Range Rover will be $86,645. At the top of the line new SV Autobiography Dynamic model will cost $171, 990.
