Chevrolet Traverse is crossover SUV with full-size proportions. This three-row vehicle can accommodate up to eight passengers and still provides plenty of cargo room. Interior design of the Traverse is focused on the practicality. Front seats are comfortable and with plenty of head and leg room. The second row also provides generous comfort and even rear seats can accommodate smaller adults. Cargo space is also abundant even with all seats up.

On the other hand design is handsome but not too exciting. Dash is simple and includes center MyLink infotainment screen. It is relatively easy to use and understand.

The latest Chevy Traverse can be configured in three trims. Available are LS, LT and top Premier.

Standard features include 17-inch wheels, roof rails, automatic headlights, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, OnStar system, etc. It also has a 6.5 inch touchscreen, a 6-speaker sound system, USB, Bluetooth, etc.

LT trim includes features like 18-inch wheels, fog lights, an 8-way power driver seat, heated front seats, three-zone climate control, a 10-speaker sound system, upgraded infotainment system, etc.

Top trim benefits form 20-inch wheels, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, 8-way power front passenger’s seat, more safety features, etc.

Safety highlights are parking sensors, blind-soot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, etc.

2018 Chevy Traverse: Performance

Under the hood of 2018 Chevy Traverse is powerful 3.6-liter V6 engine with the ability to produce 281 horsepower and 266 lb ft of torque. However, in the top Premier version it produces 288 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque.

A six-speed automatic transmission is standard as well as front-wheel drive. Optional is all-wheel drive and model can tow up to 5, 200 pounds.

The fuel economy is 15 mpg and 22 mpg for city and highway with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive returns 17 mpg combined.
